why psychoanalytic psychotherapy?
each person's distress has its own particular tone and content.
life can be full of difficulties and each one of us is obliged to live in unacceptable conditions that are sometimes unbearable and overwhelming.
psychoanalytic psychotherapy provides a space to speak about what is currently unsaid and to hear it in a new way that can impact what one does next. if suffering is lessened in this space, it is as a result of coming upon the freedom to choose to hear yourself.
the emphasis in this space is on listening to those that come seeking help, rather than advising or instructing. it is a generous space you can think deeply in; to consider your reality, come upon your own language and choose a way.
psychoanalytic psychotherapy is not simply a curative for a person suffering, it offers a unique opportunity to get to know yourself in a truly intimate and remarkable way.
